The much-anticipated launch event for Payton Capital’s new Queensland office proved to be nothing short of spectacular. With a buzzing crowd of over 100 guests, the event showcased Payton Capital’s zeal to expand its footprint into the Queensland market.

Among the guests were several of Payton Capital’s senior executives. David Payton; Kelly Jarrett and; Jeremy Townend Co-Head, Payton Capital; and Grant Murphy the State Manager for Queensland and NSW. Their presence was not just symbolic of the company’s commitment to this new venture but also a testament to the importance of the Queensland market to Payton’s future.

Jeremy Townend took to the stage and introduced the new Queensland team. This group of dedicated and knowledgeable property professionals included Grant Murphy, Lachlan Winten (Senior Relationship Manager), Steve Keefe and Carla Huysamen (Relationship Managers). In his address, Jeremy emphasised how the Queensland expansion had been a top priority for the business, however, Payton had prioritised finding the right leader as this was paramount to the success of the expansion into Queensland and the promising future throughout the entire eastern seaboard.

CEO David Payton was keen to express that while Payton Capital was growing, the core of the company would remain unchanged. David spoke about Payton’s desire to maintain the status as a mid-market specialist. He also added that Payton’s hallmark premium service, tailored solutions, and for-purpose values, exemplified by the Payton Foundation, will continue to be at the heart of the business, including our new Queensland office.

Grant Murphy also shared with guests that he was excited to be joining Payton Capital and was keen to expand the awareness of the brand in the Queensland market. With currently limited brand awareness, Payton has an incredible opportunity for growth in Queensland given the current economic climate. Grant and the team are confident that Payton Capital will become a leading CRE Private Debt business in Queensland in the coming years.

As guests celebrated the evening, the focus remained on forging new partnerships in Queensland. With a focus on growth, fostering robust and enduring relationships in this vibrant market, we are excited about our new journey!
