Meet our Foundation Team
Our vision / mission is to empower vulnerable lives and change ours.
Partnering in the areas of: Health, Housing and Education.
Partnership is at the heart of who we are. It’s not a grant process, it’s not transactional. It’s real people, giving of themselves to change the lives of real people.
Founded by the Payton family in 2011 by donating 20% of the shares in Payton Capital Ltd, the Payton Foundation partners with charities and investors to help transform the lives of the poor and the vulnerable. We cultivate opportunities for you to connect with charities that exemplify best practices in impact, leadership, and accountability. Through due diligence, relationship and consistent support, you can be sure that every donation fosters real-life transformations.

Transcript: Payton Charity Event
In 2019, I was invited by the Foundation to a charity event in Kenya. The opportunity allowed me to visit homes where children were unable to attend school, a tragedy in the country. Attending school offers people hope, opportunity, and a daily meal. I found it was easy to help once I had the structure in place and knew people on the ground. This led to the creation of an education fund, which last year supported 43 children in attending school.
We feel compelled to help vulnerable people transform their lives, which is why the family gifted 20% of their company’s paid-up capital to establish the Payton Foundation. This allows others to join us with confidence, knowing that 100% of their donations go directly to the end purpose. Our vision at the Foundation is to empower people out of long-term poverty through a focus on health, housing, community, education, and empowerment.
The Foundation was established in memory of my late mother, Ruth, who was a very generous and merciful woman. She taught me that giving is the antidote to fear and that coming from a spirit of love overcomes that fear and is good for both the giver and the recipient. We want to help others understand the joy of helping others and be a trusted conduit for their philanthropic goals.
We work with best practice charities that demonstrate impact, leadership, and accountability. Our due diligence and ongoing support ensures that donations will help transform lives. We also leverage our networks and expertise to help charities achieve their influence and effectiveness sustainably. Payton Foundation is a bridge that allows you to activate your own philanthropic goals and purpose.
