Discover Children’s Ground
From infants to Elders, Children’s Ground works with entire First Nations communities over a 25 year period to make real and lasting change. This trip gives you the opportunity to visit their work in Mparntwe (Alice Springs), Garramilla (Darwin) and Marlkawo (West Arnhem).
You will visit town camps, on country learning sessions and meet the people delivering First Nations education reform and broader systems change. This is an opportunity to witness the impact firsthand and learn more about the challenges and solutions from their Leaders. This visit explains why we partner with Children’s Ground and how our support is changing lives. Can’t make it for the full duration of the trip? There is the opportunity to join us solely in Alice Springs or Darwin.
Your Chance to Make a Difference
Childrens Ground go to great lengths to host us. We aim to reciprocate their kindness and generosity by offering something in return. Each participant is invited to donate or fundraise a minimum of $5000 for full trip or $3000 for half trip. This will support their work and recognise the cultural knowledge holders as well as covering their wages and operations to facilitate trip.
The Payton Foundation can assist you in setting up a fundraising page to facilitate tax-deductible, online giving. Every contribution will make a difference in the lives of these families.
